AS PART of Energy Conservation
Week being observed from
December 14 to 20, Madhya
Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut
Vitran Company (MPPKVVC) has
launched a special Energy
Conservation Chariot ‘Urja Rath’
to spread awareness among con
sumers about electricity saving.
Chief General Manager
(Human Resources &
Administration), Sampada Saraf
Gurjar, flagged off the Urja Rath
by showing the green flag from
the main gate of Shakti Bhawan.
The Urja Rath has been
designed to disseminate information on energy conservation
through flex boards, banners,
audio jingles and pamphlets. It
is also creating awareness about
the benefits of solar panels,
Samadhan Scheme and V-Mitra
App, along with other consumer
oriented initiatives.
On the occasion, senior offi
cials of the company including
Chief General Manager (Stores
& Purchase) Ashok Singh Dhurve,
Chief General Manager
(Commercial) S K Nigam, Chief
Financial Officer Vikram Bhaskar,
Head of Information &
Technology Arvind Saxena and
Additional Chief General
Manager (RDSS) Vivek Chandra
were present.
Through innovative methods,
the company is educating the
general public on various ways
to save electricity during Energy
Conservation Week. Urja Rath
visited areas under Jabalpur
region including Rampur Chowk,
Gwarighat area and Polipather
Distribution Centre, interacting
with electricity consumers and
spreading awareness on energy
conservation.
The chariot will
continue to visit different parts
of Jabalpur throughout the week
to encourage people to adopt
electricity-saving practices.
Information related to elec
tricity conservation, Solar
Rooftop Scheme, Samadhan
Scheme, V-Mitra App, and the
company’s 1912 Call Center is
being shared through flex ban
ners displayed on the Energy
Chariot.
To further motivate consumers
towards energy conservation, the
company has also prepared
audio jingles and graphic images,
which are being widely circulat
ed through Facebook, Instagram,
YouTube Shorts and WhatsApp,
ensuring the message reaches
every mobile user.
