ELDERLYresidents of Apna Ghar Old Age Home had a delightful experience on Tuesday as they enjoyed a shikara boat ride on the historic Badi Lake Boat Club in the company of Mayor Malti Rai. Describing the shikara ride as a “wonderful experience,” Mayor Rai expressed her joy in serving the senior citizens, saying that caring for the elderly brings a unique sense of fulfillment. During the outing, the Mayor personally assisted the residents in wearing life jackets and ensured their safety while they cruised around the lake. She also offered light refreshments to the seniors, adding a personal touch to the visit. The event was attended by Mayor Council member Shaya Thakur, zone presidents Brijula Sachan and Aarti Aneja, social worker Neeta Wadhwa, along with the director and staff of Apna Ghar Old Age Home.
