MP players win 14 medalsfor Indian squad inWorld Modern Pentathlon C’ship in South Africa

PLAYERSof Madhya Pradesh
proved their mettle by winning
14 medals for the Indian squad
in World Modern Pentathlon
Championship in South Africa.
Competing in Laser Run, Biathle
and Triathle events, the Indian
contingent secured a total of 14
medals, including 1 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze, bringing great
pride to the nation. A total of 35 players from dif
ferent states across India were
selected through national-level
competitions in Laser Run,
Biathle and Triathle. Remarkably,
largest contingent 16 boys and
girls was from Madhya Pradesh.
This achievement was made
possible through the support of
Madhya Pradesh Olympic
Association Secretary Digvijay
Singh and dedicated efforts of
Modern Pentathlon Madhya
Pradesh Secretary Sunil Bharti,
whose hard work enabled a
strong State team to participate
in the championship. Madhya
Pradesh athletes represented
India with excellence on international stage, significantly con
tributing to the country’s medal
tally and enhancing India’s glob
al sporting reputation.

and Sports Minister Vishwas
Sarang praised the athletes for
