A SENSATIONAL case of pro longed physical exploitation and blackmail has surfaced under the jurisdiction of the Kolar Road Police Station. Following a for mal complaint by the victim, police have registered a case of rape and criminal intimidation against a youth residing in Neemuch. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the sus pect. Proximity Under the Guise of Employment: According to police reports, the victim had been liv ing with her children in Neemuch following a divorce due to fam ily disputes in 2020-21. During this period, she met the accused, who worked as a catering con tractor for weddings and parties. The accused gained the victim's trust by promising her employ ment and kept her under his wing.

 

However, he soon began pres suring her for sexual favours, threatening to tarnish her repu tation if she refused. Systemic Exploitation from Farmhouses to Warehouses: The victim alleged that in December 2023, the accused took her to a room at a farmhouse under the pretext of work and raped her for the first time. Subsequently, using constant threats and intimidation, he con tinued to sexually exploit her at various locations, including warehouses, farms, and resi dences. Exhausted by the persistent harassment, the woman even tually returned to her maternal home in Bhopal. However, the accused followed her to the state capital, where he continued to intimidate and assault her.

 

Silence Broken After Relentless Harassment: The victim stated that she remained silent for a long time out of fear for her own and her children's social stand ing. However, as the accused’s tor ture and threats became unbear able, she finally approached the authorities for help. Based on the victim’s state ment, the Kolar Road Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law. Investigating officers confirmed that police teams have been dispatched to arrest the accused, and a detailed investigation is underway.
