STRENGTHENING infrastructure in the Cantt Assembly con stituency, MLA Ashok Rohani on Sunday performed bhoomipujan for development works worth Rs 30 lakh in the Amanala area of Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Ward. The projects include con struction of a community hall, CC road and a drainage system. Addressing the gathering, Rohani said overall development of all wards remains his top pri ority. He assured residents that there would be no shortage of funds for essential infrastructure and that development works would continue without inter ruption.

 

Rohani said his focus is to ensure better civic amenities for residents and connect every area with the city’s development mainstream. He said the proposed community hall will provide an organised venue for social and local functions. The CC road will improve con nectivity and offer relief from dust and garbage, while the drainage work is expected to strengthen water disposal, leading to improved cleanliness and public health in the area. Local residents welcomed the initiative and expressed gratitude to the MLA, calling the projects a long awaited step towards better civic facilities in the area.
