IN A move to promote chemi
cal-free and toxin-free farming,
a Organic/Natural Farmers’
Market was organised at the PTC
Ground in Sagar. Minister for
Farmer Welfare and Agricultural
Development Edal Singh
Kanshana, participated in the
event and highlighted the state
government’s efforts to encour
age natural and organic farming
across Madhya Pradesh.
Minister Kanshana empha
sized that natural and organic
farming is crucial for the health
of farmers, the general public,
and the environment. He urged
farmers to adopt natural farm
ing practices in place of chemi
cal fertilizers, ensuring soil fertility and the production of safe
and nutritious food grains.
The Agriculture Minister fur
ther stated that the government
is continuously working to pro
mote organic farming and will
implement more initiatives in
this direction in the future. The
organic/natural farmers’ market
provides farmers with a better
platform to sell their produce
while ensuring consumers have
access to pure, chemical-free
food products.
The event showcased a vari
ety of organic grains, fruits, veg
etables, and other products pro
duced by local farmers. The market saw large partici
pation from farmers and citi
zens, reflecting growing aware
ness and interest in natural and
organic farming practices.
