J P Nadda hails two years Sai-ledBJP Govt during Janadesh Utsav

UNION Minister and BJP National President J P Nadda on Monday said that the Vishnu Deo Sai government in Chhattisgarh has completed two magnificent years with a strong resolve for progress and good governance. Addressing the ‘Janadesh Utsav’ organised on the occasion of two years of the BJP government, Nadda said the people of State had given their blessings to the BJP, leading to visible and impactful results on the ground. Nadda recalled that Chhattisgarh recently celebrat ed the silver jubilee of its foun dation on November 1. During his visit, he paid obeisance at the Sheorinarayan temple and Maa Kaushalya’s birthplace. He said that during the Assembly elections two years ago, he had campaigned extensively and the people voted out the Congress government due to corruption, misgovernance, unfulfilled promises and a policy of appeasement, including com promising with Naxalism.
  
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Nadda said the double-engine government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the political culture by fulfilling promises. He congratulated Vishnu Deo Sai and his team for ensuring holistic development of farmers, women and youth. He said financial assistance of Rs 10,000 was provided to 5.72 lakh farmers under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Bhumihin Krishi Majdoor Kalyan Yojana, while 94,000 workers received nutritious food at Rs 5 under the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Shram Anna Yojana. Digital facilities were extended to 4,500 gram panchayats through Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras.For youth, five years’ age relaxation was granted in government jobs and recruitment for 32,000 posts has begun transparently.
 
The PSC examination scam has been hand ed over to the CBI and the commission has been reconstituted. New libraries are being built in 24 urban bodies and 160 ITIs have been upgraded. Nadda said the pending paddy bonus of Rs 3,716 crore, stalled during the previous government, was released with in a month on December 26. Paddy procurement at Rs 3,100 per quintal reached 1.4 crore metric tonnes, benefiting over 20 lakh farmers. Women are receiving Rs 1,000 per month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, while tendu patta collectors now get Rs 5,500 per bag. He also praised the state’s efforts to curb Naxalism, stating that it has been confined to limited areas, with large numbers of Naxals surrendering, being arrested or neutralised. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed JP Nadda and thanked the people of Chhattisgarh for trusting Modi Ki Guarantee. He said the BJP government is fulfilling all promises, from welfare schemes to industrial growth, and reaffirmed the resolve to eliminate Naxalism by March 31, 2026. He added that a new industrial policy and the Viksit Chhattisgarh 2047 vision document are guiding the State towards a prosperous future.
