ON THE occasion of the 101st birth
anniversary of former Prime Minister
Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpayee, an
exhibition titled ‘Nivesh Se Rojgar –
Atal Sankalp’ was organised at the venue of the Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh
Growth Summit in Gwalior.

Home and Co-operative Minister Amit
Shah, along with Chief Minister Dr
Mohan Yadav, visited and reviewed the
exhibition. Union Minister
Jyotiraditya Scindia, Speaker of the
MP Legislative Assembly Narendra
Singh Tomar, senior MLA and State
BJP President Hemant Khandelwal,
and several other public representatives were also present.
The exhibition highlighted the life
journey of the late Prime Minister Atal
Behari Vajpayee, showcasing his patriotism, visionary leadership, and contributions to nation-building. Through
his speeches, poetry, and political
achievements, the exhibition emphasised his philosophy of Integral
Humanism, landmark projects such
as the Pokhran nuclear tests and the
Golden Quadrilateral, and his resolve
to make India a developed nation.
In addition, Madhya Pradesh’s
industrial progress and economic
development were prominently displayed. Key projects such as the Singaji
Thermal Power Project, Eleczar PVC
Plywood Unit in Malanpur, Pithampur
Auto Hub, and Bhopal Food Park were
highlighted. Success stories of startups in drone technology and agri-tech
sectors further showcased innovation,
entrepreneurship, and emerging
employment opportunities.
Under the One District–One
Product (ODOP) initiative, the exhibition featured products like opium
from Mandsaur, handicrafts from
Maihar, Tinkira rice from Chhindwara,
GI-tagged items including Vidisha’s
Lahsunia Lal Chana, Balaghat’s Kakad
Haat rice, mustard-based products,
Morena Gajak, and Datia’s bell metal work.
The exhibition effectively demonstrated Atalji’s vision of linking
investment with employment and
highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s
progress towards sustainable, inclusive development through industrial
growth, innovation, and the promotion of local products.
