At The 61st annual general meeting of the Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), held on June 28, Prashant Mohota was unanimously elected as President for 2025-26 while Kaushal Mohta was elected as Secretary.

 

The Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA LEW) also held its elections and unanimously elected Yogita Deshmukh as the new Chairperson and Poonam Gupta, Secretary of VIA LEW for the year 2025-26. Setting aside their differences, the two main factions of the Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) in October joined hands to elect the new team of office-bearers for 2025-26 term.

 

The region’s leading body of traders unanimously elected Farooq Akbani and CA Hemant Sarda as the new President and Secretary at its 81st annual general body meeting. CA Dinesh Rathi was unanimously elected as the Chairman of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

 

(ICAI) Nagpur Branch of WIRC for 2025-26. CA Swaroopa Wazalwar was elected as the Vice Chairperson, while CA Deepak Jethwani became the Secretary. The 88th annual general meeting of the Nagpur Chamber of Commerce Ltd (NCCL) was held in October. On the occasion, elections were conducted wherein CA Kailash Jogani was elected as President and Tarun Nirban as Secretary.
