IN A proud and historic moment, the
G r e n a d i e r s
Regimental Centre
under Headquarters
Madhya Bharat Area
has achieved remarkable success at the
68th National
S h o o t i n g
Championship (Air
Rifle & Air Pistol) held
at New Delhi, underlining the Regiment’s
commitment to excellence in both soldiering and sports. Agniveer Kartik and Agniveer Vishal delivered outstanding performances in the National Air Rifle event, earning qualification for the prestigious International Trials scheduled in
January–February 2026. Their
achievement reflects exceptional discipline, mental
toughness, and precision—
qualities meticulously nurtured during their training.
Adding a historic first to this
success, Agniveer Sachin
secured a Silver Medal in the
National Air Pistol event. This
is the first national-level shooting medal won by a shooter
trained at the Grenadiers
Regimental Centre, Jabalpur,
marking a milestone in the
Regiment’s sporting legacy.
Previously, national medals
associated with the Regiment
had been achieved through
AMU-trained shooters.
All three Agniveers were
systematically groomed at
the Grenadiers Regimental
Centre, Jabalpur, where equal
emphasis is placed on professional military training
and development of sporting talent. This achievement
powerfully reinforces the
potential of Agniveers and
showcases The Grenadiers as
a cradle of disciplined soldiers and emerging national
champions.
