In a remarkable gesture, the entire Board of Directors of the Vivekanand Nagari Sahakari Pratyaya Sanstha chose to donate their honorariums and meeting allowances for the entire year for public welfare. The funds were distributed to Dr Hedgewar Smarak Samiti (Rs 1 lakh); Vidya Bharati, Vidarbha (Rs 1 lakh); Sanskrit Bharati, Vidarbha (Rs 1 lakh); and Mission Vishwa Mamatva Foundation (Rs 1 lakh). The fund was presented to the concerned organisations at a ceremony graced by chief guest Parikshit Jawade, Vidarbha Sah-Prant Pracharak of the RSS’ Vivek Jugade, Chairman of Vivekanand Nagari Sahakari Pratyaya Sanstha, and Mahesh Andhare, Vice Chairman of the sanstha. Parikshit Jawade remarked that the initiative by the society is invaluable. He noted that the institution’s foundation is built on sacrifice and dedication, which has earned it deep public trust. Several dignitaries attended the event, including Shridhar Gadge, RSS Vidarbha Prant Sah-Sanghchalak; Dr Manjusha Giri, Shrinivas Varnekar, and Board of Directors including Kalyan Diwan, Shrikant Aglave, and others.
