SHAMYA Raikawar and Shaurya Bhandarkar of Orange City Sports Shooting Club excelled in the Maharashtra Air Gun State Shooting Competition that was organised by Maharashtra Rifle Association in Nagpur. Shamya won a gold and two silver medals in youth junior and senior category while Shaurya secured two bronze medals in sub-youth, youth, in the 10m rifle shooting event. Both shooters have been selected for the Pre-National Shooting Competition 2025. Shaurya and Shamya train under Nagpur’s noted shooting coach and founder of Orange City Sports Shooting Club Anil Pande.

 

The club has following branches in Nagpur — GRPF Headquarters Ajni; Jyotiba Phule NIT Sports Complex, Swavalambi Nagar, ADBA Sports Complex KT Nagar Friends Colony and Besa. Members of Orange City Sports Shooting Club congratulated the medal winners and wished them luck for future events.
