A lively morning atmosphere, a grand procession was taken out ahead of the inauguration of the 100th Akhil Bharatiya Natya Sammelan, on Saturday. The procession, featuring dhol-tasha pathak, cymbals, lezim dancers, theatre artists including folk dancers portraying Vasudeo, Potraj, Pingla, Dashavatar, and Gondhali, started from Gandhi Gate in Mahal and reached the venue — Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruh.
