THREE footballers from city have been selected in the Maharashtra Under-14 girls and boys teams for the school nationals which is under way at Kolhapur. Mili Ranshoor of St Joseph’s Convent, Fetri and Unnati Dhuriya, a student of Vidya Mandir, Koradi have been selected in the girls team while Lavit Singh, a student of St John’s High School, Mohan Nagar, has been picked in the boys team. The players give the credit of their selection to coaches Ravikant Meshram, Vijay and Savio Andrew apart from their school principals Sister Ritika, Shailesh Bhasme and Father Vishwas.
