The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Central Council has nominated 5 senior Chartered Accountants (CAs) from Vidarbha to its National CPE Committee for the year 2025-26. Senior CA Dinesh Dadriwal from Gondia, Past Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WIRC ICAI, CA Swapnil Mukund Agrawal, CA Ashwini Suresh Agrawal, CA Sandeep Wasudev Jotwani and CA Umang Vijay Agrawal were selected to represent Vidarbha to this esteemed committee. CPE refers to ‘Continuing Professional Ethics’ which is a mandatory requirement for practicing CAs to perform their duties effectively.

 

The key objectives of the committee are to keep CAs abreast of all current knowledge in their core areas of competence, familiarise them with new and emergent subject areas related to professional development, become aware of developments in related fields, visualise future needs and prospects of the society and gear up the profession to cater to those needs, etc. The nominated members thanked ICAI President CA Charanjot Singh Nanda and Central Council Member from WIRC CA Vishnu Agrawal, Vice Chairman of CPE Committee for considering their names in the National Committee of ICAI.
