NITTTR will participate in the efforts to empower teachers: Prof C C Tripathi 
 
The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, is conducting various training programmes for professors, principals, librarians, and laboratory technicians of the Higher Education Department. Director of NITTTR, Professor C C Tripathi, stated that these training programmes are significantly contributing to strengthening the State’s educational standards, a result of the Higher Education Department’s foresight. These programmes are not only enhancing the capacity of academic and non-academic members of Madhya Pradesh’s Higher Education Department but also paving the way for adopting modern educational techniques, quality standards, digital literacy, and educational leadership.
 
He expressed hope that in the future too, such useful training programs will be organised to empower the State’s teachers with advanced and effective teaching methods in a timely manner, and the institute will be a partner in this endeavor. Professor P K Purohit, Dean of Corporate and International Relations at NITTTR Bhopal, informed that a total of 35 training programmes are being organised for the Higher Education Department until August, out of which 10 have already been completed.
 
In these training programs, 65 principals from Prime Minister’s Excellence and Autonomous Colleges received training in 02 programmes on ‘Academic Leadership Development for Institute Governance and Management’, 45 librarians on ‘Modern Libraries and Emerging Technologies’, a total of 55 Assistant Professors in a 12-day refresher programme, 111 Assistant Professors in 03 programmes on ‘Science for Engineering Applications’, 42 laboratory technicians on ‘Operation and Maintenance of Lab Equipment’, 37 Assistant Professors on ‘Managerial Skills and Professional Ethics’, 42 Assistant Professors on ‘21st Century Communication through Digital Mode’, and a total of 397 trainees received training. By August, 25 training programmes are proposed, including 10 training programmes for principals on ‘Use of Technology for Outcome-Based Education’, 05 on ‘Institute Development Plan’, 05 on ‘Indian Knowledge System’, and 05 on other subjects, in which approximately 350 principals and 450 assistant professors will receive training. Through these training programs, approximately 1400 members of the Higher Education Department will be trained. Additionally, the framework for other training programmes is also being worked on.
