Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurates BJP’s three-day training camp at Pachmarhi

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated a three-day training camp organised by the Madhya Pradesh BJP for its public representatives and functionaries at the hill station of Pachmarhi in Narmadapuram district.

BJP chief V D Sharma were present on the occasion, a BJP leader said here. The ruling party’s 165 MLAs, 29 Lok Sabha and seven Rajya Sabha members from the State are attending the camp and they would not be using mobile phones except during the breaks, he said. Among other things, the participants will receive guidance about how to communicate in public and use social media effectively, said a party source. New members will also be apprised of the Bharatiya Janata Party's culture and history,
he added.
Earlier, Amit Shah arrived in Pachmarhi on Saturday, where he was warmly welcomed by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at the helipad. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav were also present. in-charge Minister Rakesh Singh, MLA Dr Sitasaran Sharma, MPs V D Sharma and Darshan Singh Chaudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia,
MLAs Thakur Das Nagwanshi, Vijay Pal Singh and Preeti Pawan Shukla, among other public representatives attended the event.
Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was accorded a warm welcome by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at the Old Terminal of Bhopal Airport. The Chief Minister presented a bouquet to Shah. Accompanying the Union Home Minister, CM Dr Yadav and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan departed for Pachmarhi via helicopter. Director General of Police Kailash Makwana also welcomed Shah by presenting a bouquet. The event saw the presence of Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, former Minister Dr Narottam Mishra and other public representatives.
