The Art of Living, Nagpur Chapter, has announced that Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit the city on September 10 and will stay till September 12. During his stay, he will deliver a discourse on ‘Vigyan Bhairav’, a 7,000-year-old Sanskrit scripture that contains 112 ancient meditation techniques aimed at calming the restless mind. The programme will take place on September 11 and 12 at Mankapur Indoor Stadium.

 

As part of the visit, devotees will also have the opportunity to witness the original Somnath Jyotirlingam relic on display at the RTMNU Ground on September 10. The announcement was made in the presence of thousands of residents who had gathered to celebrate the occasion of Guru Pournima. The gathering was marked by deep reverence and gratitude for Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, whose teachings have brought immense peace, joy, and wisdom into their lives. Sharing his message, Gurudev said,

This brings true humility, when you know you have nothing to give and nothing to take back.” The celebration was part of a global event led by Gurudev from Boone, North Carolina (USA), and livestreamed to over a thousand locations across the Americas, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Millions of devotees joined virtually to participate in collective meditation and imbibe wisdom.
