Kanwad Yatra taken out at Dindori

The worship of Lord Bholenath continues in the month of ‘Shravan’ in all places in district. ‘Kanwad Yatra’ is being taken out by devotees across the district. In this sequence, ‘Kanwad Yatra’ was organised on the third Monday of Shravan month by Shani Seva Samiti Madia Ghat Dindori and Old Dindori Bajrang Mandir Samiti in the district headquarters. Like every year, Kanwad Yatra was organised this year too by Shani Seva Samiti Madia Ghat Dindori, in which a large number of devotees including children, young men and women participated. Kanwad Yatra started in the morning from Maa Narmada Temple Madia Ghat.
 
The Kanwad Yatra reached the village Kukarramath Rinmukteshwar Temple in district Samanpur via Amarkantak road from the city road, where devotees offered ‘jal’ on Lord Shiva. Social workers, devotees, traders welcomed the Kanwad Yatra at various places and also made arrangements for refreshments. The young social workers and traders of the city welcomed the ‘Kamvad Yatra’ by showering flowers at Bharat Mata Chowk. ‘Prasad’ was also distributed to the devotees at Kukarramath by Shani Seva Samiti. Police force was deployed for security. The devotees also decorated palanquins during the Kanvad Yatra, in attractive manner.
 
‘Jalabhishek’ was done while worshipping Lord Shiva as per the rituals. Locals believes that the wishes of any devotee who worships, performs Jalabhishek in Rinn Mukteshwar temple with a true heart, are definitely fulfilled. In old Dindori area, Bajrang Mandir Committee also organized Kanvad Yatra on the third Monday of Shravan month. Kanvad Yatra was started from the temple. Here also young devotees in large number participated in the Kanvad Yatra. The Kanwad Yatra organised by Bajrang Mandir Samiti reached Siddh Tekri in Chatua village via Samanpur Tiraha, Bhondu Tola, Dhanuwasagar where Lord Bhole Nath was offered ‘jal’.
