DELHI Public School, Lava beat Indira Gandhi High School, Gadchiroli to emerge U-17 Subroto Mukherjee Divisional champions at SFS College ground. In the all-important final, DPS Lava clinched the title with a 3-1 verdict over Indira Gandhi High School, Gadchiroli via tie-breaker. Both the teams were locked at one-all at the end of regulation time. Sukesh Sana scored for Indira Gandhi High School in the 11th minute. Arnav Satpute drew parity in the 22nd minute to take the match into shoot-out.

 

Abhimanyu Bhojani, Gaurang Teotia and Arnav Satpute struck for the winners while Sukesh Sana found the target for Indira Gandhi High School. Earlier, in the semi-finals, Delhi Public School, Lava edged past Alfanso Senior Secondary School, Wardha via tie-breaker after both scored a goal each in the regulation time. In spot kicks, Bhojani and Teotia found target for the winning side while Himanshu Dhote scored for Alfanso Senior Secondary School. In the other semi-final, Indira Gandhi High School, Gadchiroli beat Centre Point School, Dabha 2-1 via shoot-out. Bamkim Kundu and Nitin Mandal scored for the winners while Yug Singhvi found the target for CPS, Dabha. In the hard-line final, CPS, Dabha defeated Alfanso Senior Secondary School, Wardha 3-1 via tie-breaker. Sahil Gaherwar, Arnav Gulwade and Yug Singhvi scored for Centre Point School, Dabha while Daksh Patil found the net for the losing team. In quarter-final matches, Delhi Public School, Lava (Mihir Bolakhe, 17th and Gaurang Teotia, 20th) beat Mount Carmel Convent, Chandrapur 2-0; Alfanso Senior Secondary School, Wardha got walkover Sri Rajasthan English High School, Gondia; Indira Gandhi High School (Sumit Bschher, 27th) pipped Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Chandrapur Gramin 1-0; Centre Point, Dabha (Rishabh Khemani, 26th) beat SoS 1-0.
