Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways takes the privilege of operating an exclusive Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train for ‘Two Jyotirlinga with Dakshin Darshan Yatra’ with confirmed train tickets for the devotees. The destinations covered in the itinerary include Tirupati, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlings. IRCTC’s 10-nights and 11-days tour in Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will commence from Rewa, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Itarsi, Betul, Nagpur and Sevagram on August 21, this year. The initiative will also promote domestic religious tourism in the country. The tour packages will include travel by train and bus.
 
The journey will also offer a number of services to the passengers and it also includes services such as breakfast, lunch and dinner, Guide, Escort and one IRCTC Tour Manager. Furthermore, IRCTC will also provide accommodation and food while also ensuring the tourist’s security. IRCTC, Bilaspur Area Manager Praveen Sharma said that one of the most affordable tourist packages in the country also covers visit to Balaji Temple and Padmawati Temple in Tirupati, Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameshwaram, Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, Vivekanand Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, Kanyakumari Temple and Sunset in Kanyakumari and Mallikarjuna Jyitirling in Srisailam and other sight-seeing.
 
The tour package aims to promote domestic religious tourism in the country on a budget with Rs 20800 per person in Economy Class, Rs 35000 per person in Standard AC-3 and Rs 46500 per person in Comfort AC-3 Class. Although IRCTC will provide travel insurance but will not be responsible for any natural or social calamities, unusual occurrence and bad weather conditions which may restrict tourists from visits and sight-seeing as it may vary based on the local geographical, climate and political conditions during travel period. All the tourists have to carry their personal identity cards during the tour. IRCTC will also not be responsible any personal expenses like theft, accidents, injury, illness, death, loss, damage, cost or other claims during the journey.
