Portfolios allocated to all Cabinet ministers

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government in the State has allocated portfolios to all the Cabinet ministers after a few hours of induction of three new Cabinet ministers in the BJP Government. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has kept General Administration Department, Mineral Resources Department, Energy, Public Relations, Water Resources Department, Aviation Department, Good Governance and Convergence Department, Public Grievances and Redressal Department and other department, which have not been allocated to any Cabinet minister. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has been given Public Works Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Urban Administration and Development Department, Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
 
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will continue as Minister for Home, Jail, Panchayat and Rural Development, Science and Technology Department. Ramvichar Netam has been allocated the portfolios of Tribal Development Department, Agriculture Development and Farmers’ Welfare and Bio-technology, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Department. Dayal Das Baghel will continue as Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. Kedar Kashyap has been allocated the portfolios of Forest and Climate Change Department, Transport, Cooperative and Parliamentary Affairs. Lakhanlal Dewangan has been given Commerce and Industries, Public Undertakings, Commercial Tax (Excise) and Labour. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has been given Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Medical Education, Other Backward Classes and Minorities Development and 20 Point Implementation Programme. O P Choudhary will continue as Minister for Finance, Commercial Tax (Except Excise), Housing and Environment Department, Planning, Economics and Statistics.
 
Laxmi Rajwade will continue as Minister for Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department. Cabinet Minister Tankram Verma has been given Revenue and Disaster Management, Rehabilitation and Higher Education. Gajendra Yadav has been given the portfolios of School Education, Rural Industries and Law and Legislative Affairs Department. Guru Khushwant Saheb has been allocated the portfolios of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment and Scheduled Caste Development. Rajesh Agrawal has been given the portfolios of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowment. Chief Minister Sai wrote on his X, “The departments have been allocated among the ministers. With clear division of work and responsibility, my Cabinet colleagues are ready to serve Chhattisgarh Mahtari with new energy. All the ministers are ready with full commitment to give a concrete shape to the aspirations of the State, to fulfill our promises and to make the dream of developed India of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi a reality, and to contribute in making Chhattisgarh developed.
