Yoga and games were organised during first session of the third day of the induction programme organised at Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) as per AICTE norms for newly admitted BTech first year students in the institute. Invited guest Abhishek Agarwal emphasised on the need to take timely decisions for success in life and work formula for life management. Dr. Himanshu Acharya from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College encouraged the students to study without stress. During second session, Dr. Rishi Banshpal gave a lecture on the topic “The Ergonomic Edge for Engineers & The Engineer’s Role in Medical Field”.
He told that adopting correct posture and ergonomics is necessary for both success and health in engineering career.
Dr. Banshpal emphasized that adopting ergonomics and correct work habits not only improves health but also ensures efficiency and long-term career success.
Following which, the C Cube Club explained in a very interesting way how the mind distracts us and how the young generation falls prey to drug addiction. Dr Rajiv Chandak, JEC Principal, guided the programme. Dr Durgesh Nandini, Prof. Madhavi Soni, Dr Shailaja Verma and Professor Sonal Lad. Dr Mahima Thakur, Professor Devyani Soni, Dr Kanchan Khare, Dr Sujit Mahobia contributed in the successful programme. Dr Shilpa Saxena and Dr Kamal Kushwaha were the programme coordinators.
