The Nagpur Sahodaya Schools Complex (NSSC), in association with the CBSE Centre of Excellence (Pune Region), recently hosted two sessions of the STEM–DLD (Design-Led Development) Expert-Led Workshop at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur. The initiative drew participation from more than 230 teachers and principals representing CBSE schools across Vidarbha, making it one of the largest educator-focused STEM events in the region. The first session on August 3 welcomed over 80 participants.
 
The keynote address, delivered by Dr Yogesh Deshpande, VNIT, Nagpur, set the tone by emphasizing design-led innovation in school education. Building on the success of the inaugural event, the second session on August 17 drew an even larger gathering of more than 150 educators and principals. VNIT, engaged participants on inspiring students in AI, Coding, and Science Projects; Dr Madhura Kulkarni, SVPCET, conducted sessions on practical STEM applications; Prof. Pallavi Deshpande, SVPCET, spoke on experiential teaching; and Bharti Bijwe, Chairperson, NSSC, stressed on enhancing 21st-century skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Each session concluded with interactive Q&A rounds, enabling teachers to connect concepts with their classroom experiences.
 
The workshops not only provided practical strategies for integrating STEM education but also strengthened the school–college connect, fostering collaboration between CBSE schools and higher education institutions.
