addressing the gathering at the inauguration of Madhya Pradesh’s longest flyover, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, described Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari as a tiger who has gifted the State a Tiger Corridor. Expressing gratitude, the CM said what we had never even imagined has been fulfilled and what we asked for has also been granted. Stressing the importance of road infrastructure, CM Yadav said that the fate of a nation changes with roads and farmers’ lives improves through better connectivity. He underlined that Madhya Pradesh is an agriculture-based state and that proper transportation is crucial to ensure fair value for farmers produce.
 
Recalling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for a mandate in his third term with the promise of development, the Chief Minister said, Gadkari ji has given Madhya Pradesh projects worth Rs 60,000 crore as a blessing. He added that with divine grace and capable leadership, Mahakaushal and the State as a whole would continue to progress towards becoming the number one state in India. Minister Gadkari also inspected the flyover after inaugurating it. The dignitaries present on the occasion were Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla, State Minister Sampatiya Uike, MP V D Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Sumitra Balmeek, Rewa MP Janardan Mishra,
 
MLA Ashok Rohani, Abhilash Pandey, Ajay Vishnoi, Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh and others. Expressing views on the occasion, PWD Minister Rakesh Singh credited Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Gadkari’s vision and Chief Minister Dr Yadav’s support for making Veerangana Rani Durgavati Flyover possible. He recalled that officials had initially said the bridge could not be built, but Gadkari intervened with repeated meetings to find a solution. He said the Congress Government had earlier blocked the project. Gadkari made it clear that if this bridge was not approved, Madhya Pradesh would not get anything. Today, that determination has changed the future of Jabalpur.
 
Calling the inauguration a transformative moment, Singh said the flyover had adorned Jabalpur like a crown jewel on Mahakaushal’s forehead. He also highlighted Rs 4,000 crore, 117-km ring road sanctioned for Jabalpur, along with announcements for two logistic parks and an iconic bridge. State Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel also addressed the gathering and extended his gratitude to Gadkari for his continued support to Madhya Pradesh’s development. MP Ashish Dubey thanked Gadkari for gifting the State’s longest flyover and emphasised the city’s immense tourism potential. He urged the Minister to provide a direct road from Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh, noting that the current 180-km journey could be cut to just 90 km.
