Brutal Lovelorn teeanged boy

The accused had expressed his desire to marry the victim but her mother refused the proposal  
 
Sensation prevailed in Sakra village where a 15-year-old girl was brutally murdered by a teenged boy who had been harassing her over a one-sided love affair under the jurisdiction of Patan Police Station. According to Patan police, on receiving information about the murder, SHO Gopindra Singh Rajput, along with his team, rushed to the village of Sakra. There, a 19-year-old girl informed the police that her younger sister had been stalked by Rakesh Raikwar (19), a youth from the same village. She informed that Rakesh expressed his desire to marry her 15-year-old sister despite their different castes.
 
When her mother refused the proposal and explained that marriage was not possible due to caste differences, Rakesh threatened them. Late night on Monday, the girl and her sister went to sleep on floor mattresses in the central room of their house. Their parents and two other sisters were sleeping in another room. The door to their room was closed but not locked from inside. At around 2.30 am, the elder sister woke up to her younger sibling’s screams and saw Rakesh Raikwar standing over her with an axe in hand. Before she could react, Rakesh threatened them to life and hit on the head of 15-year-old girl for multiple times with the axe.
 
Hearing the screams, the family rushed in but Rakesh had already managed to escape from the spot with the weapon. They reached closed to the girl and found that she had succumbed to her grave injuries. Acting on the complaint, Patan police registered a case under Sections 103(1) and 332(A) of the BNS and relevant sections of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Senior officers were immediately informed of the case. Additional, SP Sampat Upadhyay formed a team under the supervision of SDOP Patan Lokesh Kumar Dabar, Addl SP Rural Suryakant Sharma and Patan SHO Gopindra Singh to arrest the accused.
