The tribal women of the self-help group of Tilai and Kamta Gram Panchayats of Nainpur development block of Mandla district together took a unique initiative called Gondi Raksha Sutra. It is not just a product but a symbol of their hard work, cultural heritage and self-reliance. Under this initiative, women have prepared beautiful Rakhi gift hampers decorated with Gondikala. These hampers include handmade Gondi painting rakhis and handkerchiefs. These rakhis are not just a bunch of threads, but a precious gift of love and tradition for brothers. The most special thing about this hamper is the pure Mahua laddu included in it.

These laddus are a taste of the hard work and culture of the women of Mandla district. Delicious laddus are made by washing, drying and grinding the dried flowers of Mahua in the traditional way and mixing it with desi ghee, jaggery and dry fruits. These laddoos are not only delicious but also rich in calcium, iron and natural sugars. This initiative is empowering these women economically as well as giving a new identity to their traditional art. Priced at Rs. 350, this gift hamper is not only a beautiful gift but also a great example of entrepreneurship and cultural preservation of rural women.
