Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will dedicate to public the State’s largest flyover and elevated corridor, stretching from Damohnaka to Madan Mahal on August 23. State Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh, confirmed the same after a meeting with Gadkari in New Delhi. Singh said that the flyover, constructed at a cost of about Rs 1,100 crore, marks a new chapter in Jabalpur’s development. He said the elevated corridor will not only hold the distinction of being the longest in Madhya Pradesh but will also ease and streamline the city’s traffic flow. The project’s visual charm will be enhanced by the cable-stayed bridge built over the railway station, offering a striking view to commuters, added Singh. He expressed gratitude to Union Minister Gadkari and Chief Minister Yadav for gifting flyover to Jabalpur and also extended best wishes to the people of Sanskardhani.
