STUDENTS of Somalwar School, Maa Umia (CBSE) branch, Kapsi ruled the squash arena sweeping all the medals at stake in different age categories in the rural section of the DSO squash tournament organised in association with the Squash Association Nagpur and MIA-CSR at the MIA-CSR Sports Complex, Central MIDC Road.
 
Over 50 young squash players representing six schools from both NMC and Rural regions took part. P Mohan, President of MIA House, Yuga Chhetri, Secretary, Squash Association Nagpur, Shekhar Bendre, Chairman, MIA-CSR Sports Committee, Dr Manohar Muddeshwar, Member, MIA Sports Committee and Shashikant Kalambe, DSO Sports Officer graced the tournament. Aniket Ramteke was the official of the tournament. Similarly, Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass Under-14 boys claimed all the titles at stake. Somalwar Kapsi teams of Under-17 boys and girls, and Under-19 boys and girls clinched all the top four medals in the rural category. In Under-14, barring the gold medal, the boys claimed the remaining four medals on offer. Same was the performance by girls in same age group. Top-performing players from both divisions have been selected to represent at the division-level tournament, scheduled to be held at Wardha Divisional Sports Complex, Wardha.
