GREEN Habits Technologies in collaboration with Veekay Industries conducted a two-day live demonstration on sustainable food packaging. The event was held recently at its Nagpur facility. The event witnessed 140 industry leaders from 12 Indian states, along with international participation. The live demo showcased Water-Based Barrier Coating Solutions – a breakthrough technology to eliminate plastic coating in food service industry. This innovation enables production of compostable, biodegradable and repulpable paper products, creating a viable alternative to plastic-based disposables. The initiative was spearheaded by Amitkumar Singla, Coating Solutions, Gautam Chandu, Bio Paper Plate Machines, Pankaj Jain, Bio Paper Cup Machines and Premkiran Pawar, Biodegradable Coating Solutions.
