CITY’S Aspire Arena Shooting (AAS) Academy, Jafar Nagar has once again brought laurels to the region with impressive performances at the recently held Chhattisgarh State Shooting Championship at Raipur.
The Academy’s young marksman Mahin Sheikh, a student of Ramkrishna Wagh College, Koradi Road, clinched the gold medal in the men’s individual 50m Prone Position Rifle (junior category), establishing himself as one of the most promising shooters in the junior circuit.
In the senior division, Shadab Khan delivered a strong performance to secure the silver medal in the 50m Prone Position Rifle men’s individual event, while his team-mate Mohsin Khan from Raipur added to
the medal tally with a commendable bronze medal in the same event.
The Academy’s senior-most representative, Dr Imran Noormohammad showcased his consistency and skill, winning the bronze medal in the 50m Prone Position Rifle men’s individual master category.
Academy’s coach, Yaseen Siddiqui ISSF coach, trained all the medal winners.
With these remarkable achievements, all four shooters from Aspire Arena Shooting Academy have qualified for the upcoming Pre-National Shooting Competition.
