PASSENGERS travelling through Bhopal Division of Western Central Railway need to note that a new train timetable comes into effect from January 1, 2026, with several trains seeing minor changes in departure and arrival times. According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, the adjustments aim to save travel time by increasing the average speed of most trains across the division.

 

From Bhopal station, trains departing will have revised timings: Bhopal–Rewa Express (22145) now leaves at 23:00 instead of 23:05, Bhopal, Dr Ambedkar Nagar Express (19324) at 17:10 instead of 17:00, Bhopal-Jodhpur Express (14814) at 16:40 instead of 16:55, Bhopal–Gwalior Express (12197) at 15:10 instead of 15:15, and Bhopal-Jaipur Express (19712) at 16:30 instead of 16:35.

 

At Rani Kamalapati Station, Rani Kamalapati-Rewa Express (12185) will now depart at 21:55 instead of 22:00, Rani Kamalapati-Pune Express (22172) at 15:40 instead of 15:50, and Rani Kamalapati-Agartala Special (01665) at 15:20 instead of 15:40.

 

Revised arrival timings at destination stations include Rani K a m a l a p a t i – R e w a Express reaching Rewa at 07:55 instead of 08:00, Bhopal–Itarsi Express (11272) at Itarsi by 13:15 instead of 12:30, Katni–Bina (11602) at Bina by 20:00 instead of 19:05, Bilaspur–Bhopal Express (18236)at Bhopal by 17:00 instead of 17:18, Gwalior–Bina (51884) at 16:20 instead of 16:25, and Kota–Bina (11603) at 16:50 instead of 16:55.

 

Intermediate stations also see adjustments: Bilaspur–Indore (18234) at Itarsi now 01:35/01:40, Rani Kamalapati–Rewa (12185) at Bina 00:25/00:30, Bhopal–Jodhpur (14814) at Ruthiyai 23:25/23:30, Darbhanga–Mysuru (12577) at Itarsi 12:20/12:30, Saharsa–SMVT Bengaluru (22351) and Patna–SMVT Bengaluru (22353) at Itarsi 12:20/12:30, Hazrat Nizamuddin–Kanyakumari (22642) at Itarsi 12:20/12:30, Prayagraj Chheoki–Itarsi (11274) at Itarsi 13:20, and Bhopal–Itarsi (11272) at Itarsi 13:50. At Sant Hirdaram Nagar, timings have changed for Bhagat Ki Kothi–Kachiguda (17606) 16:25/16:30, Bilaspur–Indore (18234) 04:53/04:55, and Dahod–Bhopal (19339) 15:30/15:32.
