A LATE goal by Tejas Ganvir helped Eagle Sport Club collect full points in their league match of JSW-NDFA Senior Division Football Championship underway at Dr Ambedkar ground in Suyog Nagar on Saturday. In the only encounter of the day, Eagle Sport Club pipped Ansari Football Academy 1-0.

 

Both the teams tried hard but none could open the account in the first half and the score remained love all when the players went into the break. Finally, it was Ganvir who managed to score the winner for Eagle in first minute (80+1) of added time of play. It was a clean game as no player was cautioned. Orange City Gurukul will take on Mervick at 3.00 pm on Sunday. There will be double headers on Monday (Al Aziz vs Shakti at 12.30 pm; MOIL B vs OSA at 3.00 pm) and Tuesday (Rahul vs FSA 12.30 pm; Orange City Gurukul vs Young Boys 3.00 pm).
