CHHATTISGARH has been
declared the best state in the
country for its excellent implementation of the Pradhan Mantri
Fasal Bima Yojana and the
Restructured Weather Based
Crop Insurance Scheme.
State Horticulture and
Agriculture Department jointly
won the first prize.
The award was presented at the
13th National Review Conference
held in Bengaluru, Karnataka,
on January 18 and 19.
Neeraj
Shaha, Joint Director-in-Charge,
received the award on behalf of
the Department of Horticulture.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
and Agriculture Minister
Ramvichar Netam congratulated the officials of the State
Government on this achievement. This award is a major
achievement for the State’s
farmers and reflects the success
of the state government’s agricultural policies.
