Gandhe brothers bring laurels to city reach MasterChef India finals

Young entrepreneur brothers Ajinkya and Vikram Gandhe from Nagpur have brought national recognition to the city by reaching the finals of the popular culinary reality show MasterChef India, airing on Sony TV. Their achievement has been appreciated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who congratulated the duo through a video message. Sons of noted educationists Mohan and Aparna Gandhe, the brothers carved their culinary journey without any formal training. Vikram, who is 31 years old, studied at B R A Mundle School and City Premier College, while Ajinkya, who is 29, completed his schooling at Narayan Vidyalaya and studied architecture at IDEAS, Nagpur.

Their expertise in baking evolved through self-learning, experimentation, and consistent practice. They currently run a café in Nagpur. On MasterChef India, Ajinkya and Vikram are proudly presenting Maharashtrian culture, traditional techniques, and regional flavours to a national audience.
