The Chhattisgarh Home Department has issued an order reshuffling senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across key positions. Dr. Sanjeev Shukla (IPS-2004), previously IG Bilaspur Range, has been appointed as the first Police Commissioner of Raipur Urban. Ramgopal (IPS-2007) moves from IG Durg Range to IG Bilaspur Range. Abhishek Shandilya (IPS-2007) shifts from IG Rajnandgaon Range to IG Durg Range. Balaji Rao Somawar (IPS-2007) transitions from IG (Law & Order), Police Headquarters, Raipur, to IG Rajnandgaon Range. Amit Tukaram Kambale (IPS-2009), formerly DIG Kanker, is now Additional Police Commissioner, Raipur Urban. Lal Umed Singh (IPS-2011) moves from SSP Raipur to SSP Jashpur. Shashi Mohan Singh (IPS-2012), previously SSP Jashpur, has been posted as SSP Raigarh.

 

Divyang Patel (IPS-2014) shifts from SP Raigarh to SP Rail Raipur. Umesh Prasad Gupta (IPS-2020), until recently Company Commander of the 14th Battalion in Balod, is now DCP (Central), Raipur Urban. Sandeep Patel (IPS-2020), formerly Company Commander of the 16th Battalion in Narayanpur, takes over as DCP (West), Raipur Urban. Mayank Gurjar (IPS-2020), Commandant of the 15th Battalion in Dantewada, has been posted as DCP (North), Raipur Urban. Vikas Kumar (IPS-2020), SP of SIB at Police HQ Raipur, is now DCP (Traffic & Protocol), Raipur Urban. Rajnala Smritik (IPS-2020), previously SP (STF) Baghera, moves to DCP (Crime & Cyber), Raipur Urban. Shweta Shrivastava Sinha (IPS), who was SP Rail Raipur, has been posted as SP Raipur Rural. Ishu Agrawal (IPS-2022), earlier City SP Azad Chowk, Raipur, is now Assistant Commissioner of Police, Azad Chowk, Raipur Urban. The Home department also issued the transfer and posting order of 24 State Police Service officers.
