VIDARBHA Industries Association (VIA) MSME Forum organised a session on ‘Maharashtra Industries, Investment & Services Policy 2025’ (MIISP) at VIA auditorium, recently. The State Government unveiled the MIISP 2025, a forward-looking framework aimed at transforming the state into India’s first trillion-dollar economy while ensuring inclusive, sustainable, and region-balanced industrial development.
Chief guest and key speaker, S S Muddamwar, Joint Director of Industries (JDI), said that MIISP 2025 marks a significant shift towards smart manufacturing, high-value services, and employment-oriented growth.
“The policy has been designed to create a globally competitive ecosystem by simplifying procedures, strengthening institutional support, and offering attractive incentives to industries across manufacturing and services,” he said.
Muddamwar added that districts in Vidarbha, Marathwada, and other less-developed regions will receive higher incentives to promote balanced industrialisation and local employment generation.
Earlier, CA Girish Deodhar, Chairman – VIA MSME Forum made opening remarks and also conducted the proceedings. VIA President, Prashant Mohota informed that VIA had shared many inputs and ODOP, which was incorporated in this new policy 2025. CA Naresh Jakhotia, Vice President – VIA welcomed Nilesh Gaikwad, General Manager, DIC, Nagpur. CA Nitin Agrawal, Jt Secretary of VIA gave concluding remarks and proposed a formal vote of thanks.
