Junior Wing of Delhi Public School, Bhilai celebrated its 40th Annual Open Day for Classes III, IV and V in a magnificent display of patriotism. The dignitaries present were honoured through the presentation of saplings, symbolising respect and gratitude towards nature. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking wisdom and enlightenment. The Principal, Parshant Vashishta, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, parents, and audience. The journey of excellence and endeavour was beautifully chronicled in the Annual Report presented by Dr Geeta Zunjani, Headmistress, Junior Wing. The highlight of the celebration was a magnificent Patriotic Extravaganza, where each class portrayed the colours of the Indian Tricolour with artistic brilliance. The spectacle began with “Kesari - The Flame of Courage,” where 93 students of Class III embodied the saffron hue through an energetic and spirited dance, honouring the bravery and sacrifice of countless heroes whose selfless service continues to inspire generations. A vote of thanks was delivered by Madhu Malini, acknowledging the contributions of all involved. The mesmerising LED display was prepared by Seema Chaudhary, Mrunmayee Mishra, Manjeet Kaur, Juhi Gupta Singh and Anjali Gandhok. The celebration concluded on a solemn and uplifting note with the rendition of the national anthem, marking a fitting end to a memorable and meaningful occasion.
