VARIOUS academic institutions
celebrated 77th Republic Day
with great patriotism, dignity
and enthusiasm.
Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural
University (JNAU):
The ceremony, themed around the slogan “Long live the Republic,
respect the Republic,” was led
by Vice Chancellor Dr. Pramod
Kumar Mishra, who unfurled
the national flag at the Jawahar
Stadium followed by the
National Anthem.
Vice-chancellor, Dr. Mishra
emphasized JNAU’s historic contribution to the nation’s food
security, noting that the university has been a cornerstone
of education, research and
extension services since its
inception. He especially credited the university for the
Soybean Revolution, Wheat
Production (driving recordbreaking wheat yields in MP),
contributing to MP’s achievement of holding the top position in food grain and pulse production for six consecutive years
and improving the socio-economic status of farmers.
He stated that the university’s advanced
agricultural technologies have
ensured that India’s granaries
remain full. He touched upon
several ongoing university projects and government initiatives
designed for student welfare.
The students from NCC and
NSS wings were honored for
their outstanding performance
and service.
Army Public School No. 2: It
was a grand celebration that
aimed to instil a sense of
National Pride and Unity among
the students. Chief guest,
Brigadier Rakesh Sharma,
Commandant JAK RRC, School
Chairman, was warmly welcomed by Principal Sheela
Pandey. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of
National Flag by Brigadier
Sharma followed by the National
Anthem. The cultural programme included Patriotic
group song, Patriotic dance by
students of classes V to VIII and
a Duet song showcasing India’s
rich culture - Unity in Diversity,
and the spirit of freedom.
The event also featured the
felicitation of the Class 10 and
12 Board Toppers of the 2024-
25 session. Yaduraj Sharma (PGT
Physical Education), Shweta
Mandhyan (PGT Psychology)
and Vikas Khare (PGT Computer
Science) were also awarded for
securing 100% API. CCA, sports
orts and overall trophies were
also given for the academic year.
The Chief Guest motivated
students to strive for excellence
and emphasized patriotism,
responsibility, and the importance of contributing to the
nation’s progress.
Christ Church School For
Boys & Girls,ISC:The school celebrated Republic Day with pride
and patriotic fervour. Bishop &
Chairman The Rt.Rev.Ajay
Umesh James, unfurled the tricolour, followed by the National
Anthem. The School Choir set
the tone with a rousing patriotic song, while the Principal Shaji
Thomas delivered a meaningful address to the students on
freedom and their responsibility towards the nation.
Many
students took an active part in
the program by dressing in the
traditional attire of different
Indian states, and descirbing the
beauty of that State. The programe came to an end by distribuiting sweets to the children.
St Aloysius School, Rimjha:
School’s Manager, Rev. Fr. James
D’Souza as chief guest unfurled
the national flag, followed by
the national anthem. Various
cultural programmes such as
patriotic songs, group dances
and speeches on the importance
of the Indian Constitution were
beautifully presented by the students. A disciplined march past
by the students was the highlight of the event, reflecting dedication, teamwork, and national spirit. The Principal, Rev. Fr.
Somy Jacob highlighted the significance of Republic Day and
encouraged students to become
responsible citizens.
The Chief Guest motivated
students to uphold constitutional values, as the future of
our nation lies in the hands of
disciplined and value-driven
students.
St Aloysius’ College: Father,
Principal Dr. J. Ben Anton Rose
unfurled the National Flag.
In his address, the Principal
urged the students to understand the core values of the constitution and uphold the values
of brotherhood, equality, justice, liberty, leadership and fraternity in their life. The air was
filled with patriotism as the
group Swar Sudha performed a
soul-stirring patriotic song, followed by an energetic dance performance by the group Rhythm
of Nation. IQAC Newsletter of
2025-2026 was released by the
dignitaries present on the dais.
The students who truly
excelled in the Talent fest,
Annual gathering youth festival
NCC & NSS achievement were
awarded. The best Aloysian
Award was given to Rinki Tomar
for her cultural and academic
achievements. The certificate of
commendation was given to
Anant Bajpai for his exceptional academic brilliance and exemplary leadership.
Muskan Dubey delivered an
inspiring speech on the responsibilities of the youth in a modern republic.
