News of death of Deputy Chief Minister of neighbouring Maharashtra has sent a shock wave among several in the State. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and many other leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, have expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Chief Minister Dr Yadav paid tribute to late Ajit Pawar and prayed to Baba Mahakal for eternal peace of the departed soul. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that late Ajit Pawar was a grassroots leader of Maharashtra with a good public image. He discharged responsibilities of important departments in different governments with full dedication and made an invaluable contribution to development of Maharashtra.

 

He always remained devoted to welfare of poor, deprived and backward sections. In a message issued on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the aircraft accident that occurred during the attempt to land at Baramati Airport in Maharashtra is heart-rending. Information has been received that Ajit Pawar along with five other persons lost their lives in this accident. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that late Pawar was his close friend. His death has left the mind distressed and filled with pain. Pawar leaving everyone in this manner is unbelievable. In this moment of grief, the Government of Madhya Pradesh stands with supporters and bereaved family members of Ajit Pawar. Chief Minister Dr Yadav prayed to Baba Mahakal for peace of souls of all those who died in the plane accident and for strength grieving families to bear this immense sorrow.

 

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla in his message stated that it was hard to accept that leader Ajit Pawar is no more. He prayed for others who have lost their lives in this plane crash. “Our condolence to the bereaved families who have lost their loves in this accident. May God give them the strength to bear loss and bring solace to their hearts during this time.”
