The tragic plane crash that killed Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, pilot Shambhavi Pathak and others on board, has spread a pall of gloom in Katni also. Shambhavi Pathak is related to the family of former Congress MLA Sunil Mishra. She is maternal niece of former MLA Sunil Mishra. She hailed from Gwalior and Katni was her mother’s maternal home. Family informed that the chartered business jet that crashed was in the process of landing at the time and Captain Shambhavi Pathak was at the controls. Shambhavi was a promising and highly trained pilot in the aviation sector, had a very strong career, training, and professional profile.
