VEDANT Kalode’s first half braced helped Sportian Football Club blank Eagle Club 2-0 in their JSW-NDFA Super Division Football Championship Super Six League match at Dr Ambedkar Stadium in Suyog Nagar on Sunday. Kalode scored the first goal in 12th minute and doubled the lead eight minutes later in the 20th minute. Both the teams tried hard to score but to no avail. Sportian’s Rakshit Fulmali and Aman Halonde and Eagle’s Shahrukh Anjum and Gaurav Bagde were cautioned for rough play. 

 

Khan ’tricks for Hans Sports Club 

 

WASHIM Khan registered first hat-trick of the JSW-NDFA Senior Division Football Championship as Hans Sports Club thumped Rahul Club 4-0. Khan found back of the net in 17th minute to start the proceedings. At the stroke of half-time, Takshak Patil (45th) made it 2-0. Khan (48th and 60th min) scored two in succession to complete his hat-trick and sealed team’s win. Hans’ Shlok Vishwakarma and Rahul’s duo of Soham Admane and Rishabh Bhaisware were shown the yellow card. On Monday: (Super League of Super Division) Central Railway vs City Police at 3.00 pm.
