UNDER the efforts to preserve
Sanskardhani’s cultural heritage and strengthen social
bonds, a grand Suhagle Mata
Pujan was organised in
Narsinghpur Ward under the
spiritual guidance of Swami
Chandrashekhar Ji Maharaj.
Nearly 2,000 married women
from the ward participated
in the collective ritual. They
performed traditional worship
and sought blessings for a
prosperous and harmonious
family life.
Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh
attended the programme as
chief guest along with his wife,
Yamini Singh. The event commenced with the lighting of
ceremonial lamp, marking the
formal inauguration of the religious gathering.
Addressing the gathering, the
Mayor said such cultural and
religious events play a vital role
in uniting society and help the
younger generation remain
connected with their roots and
traditions.
He added that preserving cultural values is essential for building a cohesive and
harmonious community.
Yamini Singh distributed traditional suhag items to the
women and extended her best
wishes for their well-being and
marital happiness. She emphasised that respect for women
and their active participation
form the foundation of a strong
and empowered society
