COLLECTOR Sudhir Kumar
Kochhar, along with the
Municipal team, inspected the
Rajnagar water supply plant, the
Damoh filter plant, water supply in Dharampura ward, and
water supply in the New PM Awas
(housing) area. He also gave necessary instructions to the Chief
Municipal Officer (CMO).
Collector Kochhar said that he
inspected the water distribution
system with the Municipal team.
Water is supplied from Rajnagar.
If there is any kind of contamination in the water, a work plan
is being prepared to solve it, so
that proper cleaning is done and
there is no contamination in the
water.
Instructions have been given
regarding the filter plant, and
detailed orders are also being
issued.
A team of five to six experts,
including a chemistry expert, has
been formed.
He said that the filter plant has a laboratory where
water testing is conducted, and
a complete study of this process
will be done.
They will examine the equipment and then submit a report
on the existing systems and what
improvements are needed.
Collector Kochhar instructed
the CMO to inspect the filter
plant at least once a week. He
also instructed that an inspection register be maintained at
the plant, where the CMO's
inspection notes will be recorded every week.
Collector Kochhar visited
Dharampura ward, where water
was being supplied. He went to
the ground level and to houses
in Dharampura ward to test the
water. He also visited the New
PM Awas in Damoh and checked
the water supply there. The water
quality was found to be very good
there as well.
