UCO Bank Zonal Office, Raipur,
celebrated its 84th foundation
day with specially abled and
orphanage children by distributing sweets and chocolates
among them on Tuesday.
As part of its commitment to
social welfare, the bank donated a water cooler to Bala Ashram
at Kachhari Chowk in Raipur,
ensuring access to clean drinking water to residents.
In another charitable gesture,
a television set was donated to
Mana Camp-based Government
Bahu- Divyang Gruh, providing
recreational and informational
support to specially-abled children. Similarly, the bank organised a blood donation camp at
its Telibandha branch which
aimed to support heath care services and promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation.
In addition, a health checkup
camp was organised at Fafadih
(Raipur main) Branch, providing
basic medical examinations and
promoting preventive healthcare
among local community.
Furthermore, several branches of bank marked the occasion
by organising plantation
drive in the nearby areas contributing to environmental conservation and promoting a greener future.
Sharing her views, Zonal Head
of the bank Veena Kumari said
that bank is thankful to its customers for having their trust
with bank and assured that
bank will always cater its financial support to the needy sector
of the society.
