ORDNANCE Factory Khamaria (OFK) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative organised ‘OFK Medha Scholarship Scheme’ to honour meritorious girl students. A total of 30 girls who secured highest marks in Madhya Prdaesh Board examinations from schools in and around Khamaria area were felicitated in a dignified ceremony held at OFK premises.

 

The programme was chaired by OFK Chief General Manager Shailesh Vagerwal while chief guest, Sushma Vagerwal, President of MILWWA Khamaria Branch, presented educational and utility materials to selected students. Each student received a tablet, school bag, notebooks, pens, shoes, water bottle, steel tiffin and school uniform to support their education and promote digital learning.

 

Parents, teachers and school principals were also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Chief General Manager said that OFK is not only contributing to national defence but is also fully committed to social responsibility. Encouraging meritorious students, especially girls, is a vital step towards nation building. Sushma Vagerwal expressed pride in honouring students and wished them a bright future. Senior officials, women welfare committee members and local dignitaries were present at the event.
