REPRESENTATIVES of
Ramnami community, known
for its unique social and religious
traditions of Chhattisgarh, paid
a cordial visit to Keshav Kuti on
Tuesday. On the occasion,
Ramnami delegates were honoured by Rani Durgavati Trust
with the offering of Shriphal and
the presentation of Shri Ram
memento. Speakers emphasised
over the Ramnami community’s
values of nationalism, disciplined
lifestyle and social harmony.
They said that while every society includes diverse individuals,
its true identity is shaped by those
who follow the path of good conduct, service and goodwill. The
Ramnami community, through
its thoughts and conduct, has
consistently conveyed positive
social messages.

Setabai Ramnami and senior
members of the society were
present on the dais. Community
representatives spoke about the
origin, ideology and practices of
the Ramnami society, explaining
that by inscribing “Ram-Ram”
on their bodies, they symbolize
the body itself as a temple, conveying that Lord Ram resides in
every being.
Speakers emphasised that the Ramnami community follows principles of vegetarianism, addiction-free living, truth, non-violence and
equality beyond caste, religion
or gender. Senior RSS functionaries and volunteers were
also present, praising the community’s spiritual discipline and
contribution to social harmony
