IN AN unusual incident at the Chief Minister’s House in Bhopal, a pet dog attacked and bit the caretaker and the guard, leaving both injured. According to reports, the dog, which is kept as a pet inside the CM House premises, became aggressive for reasons that are still unclear. The situation was eventually brought under control after officials restrained the dog using a belt.
 
The primary victim, the caretaker, was immediately taken to 1250 Hospital, where he received prompt medical attention. Doctors examined him and confirmed that he is in stable condition. Following the incident, the pet dog has been shifted to the Kajlikheda Dog Centre for observation and evaluation.
 
Officials stated that the dog will be monitored carefully to ensure safety before any further decisions regarding its return to the premises are made. The incident has raised concerns about safety within official residences, even in controlled environments. Authorities have indicated that safety measures and protocols for pets will be reviewed and strengthened to prevent such incidents in the future.
