JABALPUR city unit of Rashtra Sevika Samiti has finalised preparations for ‘Shakha Sangam’ programme scheduled to take place on Friday. The event marks festival of Makar Sankranti, serves as a significant assembly for the organisation, which is currently entering its 90th year of operation.

 

The event will be presided over by the organisation’s head, Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka who with her inspiring presence will reinforce the organizational mission among the uniformed Sevikas representing various local branches. Adding a strategic and disciplined perspective to the assembly, Lieutenant Colonel Himanshi Singh will attend as the chief guest.

 

As a recognised defense expert and military officer, Lt Col Singh is slated to deliver a keynote address focusing on the core tenets of patriotism, rigorous discipline, and the role of women in national security and social service. The event is designed not only as an internal organisational milestone but as a public demonstration of social harmony and nationalistic fervour. Organisers have urged public to witness the proceedings and support Samiti’s efforts in character-building and community service.
