The State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the tentative dates for entrance examination for a total of 17 courses for the academic year 2026-27. These entrance examinations will be held between March 2026 and May 2026. Registration has already begun for some courses, while those for others will start soon. To provide all the necessary information regarding the 2026 CET to all students in the State, from Std 12 to degree level, a YouTube Live session will be held at 3 pm.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell will be conducting 17 entrance examinations this year. To provide students with information about these CETs, their syllabus, and eligibility criteria, the CET Cell has decided to conduct the MH CET for PCM, PCB, and MBA courses twice this year for the first time.
The examinations will be held now in two sessions: Session 1 (April 11-19 for PCM, April 21-26 for PCB) and Session 2 (May 14-17 for PCM, May 10-11 for PCB), with registrations currently open on cetcell.mahacet.org/notice-board for some courses like MCA/MHMCT, and generally for engineering/pharma soon, offering two chances for the best score, similar to JEE. Two sessions for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Session 1 dates: April 11-19 (PCM) and April 21-26 (PCB).Session 2 dates: May 14-17 (PCM) and May 10-11 (PCB).
Best Score: Only the highest score from the two sessions will be considered for admission. Registration is open for some courses (MCA/MHMCT); link active on cetcell.mahacet.org. Students have been asked to visit the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org. These announcements bring a new, more student-friendly format for the State-level entrance exams in Maharashtra for the 2026 academic year.
